Scroll
down this page
to see the 8mm movie projector models available.
8mm silent and sound movie projectors on this page are for standard / regular
8mm film only (unless noted). You cannot run super-8 movies on an 8mm projector.
If you need a Super-8 Projector, click HERE .
See the difference between 8mm
and super-8 film.

All projectors are Fully
Refurbished; thoroughly inspected, adjusted, lubricated, parts replaced
and repaired as necessary to restore to factory new running condition. All are
guaranteed clean and in perfect running condition with a good bulb and take-up reel. All
are 400' reel capacity unless noted. Excellent for showing your films or to transfer them
to video (using your video camera to capture the projected image). Every projector will
come with a new 200' 8mm cartoon and instruction book. A number in ( ) brackets indicates
if I have more than one of that projector.
Most of the projectors here are
excellent to use for transferring film to video, but none have the capability of
transferring the image to video through a line output. You must use a video camera to take
a picture of the projected image if you plan to use the projector for video transfer.
PLEASE VIEW WARRANTY AND RETURN

All projectors are guaranteed to be as described and running perfectly for a full 30 days
after delivery date, or I will repair it or replace it for another comparable model. If I
don't have a satisfactory replacement, I will give a refund.
Please be sure about the type projector you need and what you order.
If, after you first receive a projector, you want to return it for a refund because you
bought the wrong format, thought it did something I indicated in the description or on the
page heading that it does not do, or you just decided you don't want it after all, I will
issue the refund less the initial shipping, Paypal fees if that applies, plus a
re-stocking fee of 25% of the selling price of the projector.

EUMIG MARK-S
ZOOM 8MM MAGNETIC SOUND PROJECTOR |
From 1965, this is the best performing regular 8mm sound projector
made. In many ways I consider this model superior to Eumigs later super and dual-8 models.
Totally refurbished with new motor mount bushing supports; and with brand new rubber
surfacing on the two drive discs, which are the heart of the mechanism. This was achieved
by much trial and error (and costly) experimenting to find the exact type and consistency
of rubber required. Has automatic threading through the film gate; manual
threading through the sound head to the take-up reel. Shows sound or silent film much
better and safer than the dual-8 models. Has pilot lights that come on when the projection
bulb is off for easy threading in the dark. Runs in forward and reverse. Has a variable
speed control for speeds from 15 to 25 frames per second. This makes it excellent for
electronic image transfer to the computer or DVD, without flicker at 20 fps, through a
video camera. Uses the inexpensive FCR 12 volt 100 watt bulb. Almost all steel and metal
construction with an excellent well built f1.3 zoom lens. Operates at 110 to 250 volts.
Comes with 400' take-up reel, protective hard plastic cover, instruction book, microphone,
spare bulb and commercial sound film - $1399

EUMIG
MARK-S 709 DUAL-8 SOUND PROJECTOR
- Eumig is the only manufacturer to make a dual-8 sound projector. It will show both
8mm and super-8 sound or silent films. Handles both film formats well because of the
separate sprockets and film gates supplied, which are stored neatly inside the protective
cover. You simply switch the parts out when changing film formats. It has automatic
threading through the film gate, then you manually thread the film through the sound heads
to the take-up reel. This makes it very easy to unthread in the middle of a reel. Has
variable speed settings from 16 to 24 frames per second, 600' reel capacity and a bright
image with the f1.4 15 to 25mm zoom lens and inexpensive, 50 hour life, FCR 12 volt 100
watt bulb. Runs in forward or reverse. Comes with instruction book and with a super-8
sound and 8mm sound film so you can test it out right away. Near Mint with totally
refurbished rubber drive discs and new motor mounts - $1399

- EUMIG DRIVE PULLEY FOR MARK-S 8MM
MODEL PROJECTORS - This is the main drive assembly for forward and reverse for the
Eumig Mark-S 8mm sound projector. Can also be used with other 700 series super-8 models
(smaller diameter worm gear will be installed for these models). Totally refurbished with brand new rubber
surfacing on the two drive discs, which are the heart of the mechanism. This was achieved
by much trial and error (and costly) experimenting to find the exact type and consistency
of rubber required. If you are having a problem with your projector maintaining the speed
and going too slow or not going at all, then this will solve your problem and make your
projector run like new again. - $299
|
- Also a Eumig Drive Pulley with the extended shaft for
Super and Dual-8 models 701 to 824 - $349 AVALIABLE SOON
NOTE: The inching knob on the 700
and 800 models is the knob on the extended shaft of the drive disc assembly. It comes out
the back of the projector and has the small knob on it you can turn to advance the film
manually frame by frame. The one for the Mark-S standard 8 is the same except it doesn't
have the extended shaft that comes out the back of the projector, however it would also
work on the 700 and 800 models (with the nylon worm gear exchanged).
