I have been working with and restoring movie projectors for 50 years. All projectors are Fully Refurbished; thoroughly inspected, adjusted, lubricated, parts replaced and repaired as necessary to restore to factory new running condition. Condition mentioned in the descriptions is cosmetic condition. All are guaranteed clean and in perfect new running condition with a good bulb and one take-up reel. All are 400' reel capacity unless noted. Excellent for showing your films or to transfer them to video (using your video camera to capture the projected image). Every projector will come with an 8mm film, one 400' take-up reel, good bulb and instruction book. A number in ( ) brackets indicates if I have more than one of that projector. The listings in this page are always current. Projectors sold are immediately removed from the lists, so it is always up-to-date.

Most of the projectors here are excellent to use for transferring film to video, but none have the capability of transferring the image to video through a line output. You must use a video camera to take a picture of the projected image if you plan to use the projector for video transfer.

I do not take in repair jobs. I just service the projectors I refurbish and sell myself.

IMPORTANT NOTE - RETURN POLICY:
All projectors are guaranteed to be as described and running perfectly for a full 60 days after delivery date, or I will repair it or replace it for another comparable model. If I can't repair it and don't have a satisfactory replacement, I will give a refund.
Please be sure about the type projector you need and what you order.
If, after you first receive a projector, you want to return it for a refund because you bought the wrong format, thought it did something I indicated in the description or on the page heading that it does not do, or you just decided you don't want it after all, I will issue the refund less the initial shipping, Paypal fees if that applies, plus a re-stocking fee of 25% of the selling price of the projector.

BELL & HOWELL 383A LUMINA 1.2 ZOOM SLOW MOTION 8MM PROJECTOR

The most full-featured model ever made by Bell & Howell, from 1965. Has automatic threading, 400' capacity, reverse and single frame projection, variable speeds in both standard (approx. 15 to 25 fps) and slow motion settings. The shutter switches from 3 to 6 blades for flickerless slow motion down to 3 frames per second. A bright picture with the fast f1.2 zoom lens and low-volt DLS or DKR 150 watt bulb, two position lamp brightness switch, retractable power cord and room light control. With automatic threading through the film gate, 400' reel capacity, reverse and single frame projection, variable speed control, retractable power cord. A bright picture with 22mm f1.2 lens (not the zoom lens shown in picture) and low-volt DLS or DKR 150 watt bulb. Has a two position lamp brightness switch to conserve lamp life for a small image or for transferring film to video; or for a brighter image when showing a large picture. Has a wired remote control for forward, reverse and still frame projection that plugs into the back. From the early 1960's, the slickest looking projector Bell & Howell ever made with a wired mercury remote control knob on a retractable 10' cord. A bright picture with the fast f1.2 Zoom lens (standard lens shown in picture) and low-volt DLS or DKR 150 watt bulb, two position lamp brightness switch, retractable power cord and room light control. Has 400' reel capacity, automatic threading to the take-up reel, an electronic variable speed control (14 to 25 fps), reverse and single frame projection. SEARS SOUNDSTAGE II 8MM MAGNETIC SOUND PROJECTOR

Made for Sears by Bell and Howell, the Sears Soundstage II projector runs regular 8mm sound or silent films. You can record audio on the magnetic stripe along the edge of the film and playback sound films, including commercial sound features and short subjects available at this site. Features 400' reel capacity, set speeds of 16 or 24 frames per second, single frame and reverse, automatic threading to the take-up reel and a bright image using the DCH, DJA or DFP 150 watt bulb and fast f1.2 Zoom lens. KODAK SOUND-8 MODEL 1
8MM MAGNETIC SOUND PROJECTOR

Kodak introduced the sound-8 in 1959. Manual threading makes it easy to thread and unthread. Has 400' capacity, set running speeds of 16 and 24 frames per second, sharp f1.5 zoom lens. Uses the 500 watt DHJ bulb. Comes complete with 2 brand new DHJ bulbs one installed and one spare, commercial sound film and instruction book. Like New condition in the worn OB - $899 (No Discount)
