A scientist and his team are held as "guests" of Robur on his airship, that he wants to use to ensure peace on earth. Peace with all, even if he has to bombard military targets all over the world. • TOM THUMB - MGM, 1958. Stars Russ Tamblyn, Alan Young, Terry-Thomas, Peter sellers. In 1958, filming the Grimm fairy tale about a thumb-sized boy was no easy task. There were no computers to help with the miniaturization. But MGM assembled a team that produced a remarkable blend of live action, animation, and puppets that was innovative for its time. • JACK THE GIANT KILLER - United Artists, 1958. Starring Kerwin Mathews and Torin Thatcher. A fairy tale story about a young man who defends a princess against a sorcerer's giants and demons. The terrible and trecherous Pendragon plans to gain the throne of Cornwall by getting the king to abdicate and to marry his lovely daughter. • KNOCK ON WOOD - Paramount, 1954. Starring Danny Kaye, Mai Zetterling, Torin Thatcher, David Burns. Ventriloquist Jerry Morgan has failed with another love affair. The reason: when the relationship reaches the point when it is time to discuss marriage, his doll Clarence becomes mean and jealous. One of Kaye's funniest performances, showcasing his comedic, singing, and dancing talents to the fullest. Not to be missed is the movie's finale, where Kaye finds himself on the stage of a London ballet as the leading dancer while simultaneously trying to escape from the bad guys. Dorothy Gale is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see the Wizard who can help her return home. • THE ADVENTURES OF MARCO POLO - 1938 romantic adventure. Starring Gary Cooper, Basil rathbone. Marco Polo travels from Venice to Peking, where he quickly discovers spaghetti and gunpowder and falls in love with the Emperor's daughter. The Emperor Kublai Khan is a kindly fellow, but his evil aide Ahmed wants to get rid of Kublai Khan so he can be emperor, and to get rid of Marco Polo so he can marry the princess. • PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - 1940 comedy romance. Starring Greer Garson, Maureen O'Sullivan, Lawrence Olivier, Mary Boland, Edna May Olivier. Mr. and Mrs. Bennet have five unmarried daughters, and Mrs. Bennet is especially eager to find suitable husbands for them. When the rich single gentlemen Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy come to live nearby, the Bennets have high hopes. The writers, actors and animators, together with Disney magic, capture the unique and limitless variety of personalities that exist in the canine world. • FIGHTING PRINCE OF DONEGAL - 1966. Starring Peter McEnery, Susan Hampshire. Ireland 1587. Hugh O'Donnell inherits the title of The O'Donnell, the prince of Donegal, and tries to unite Ireland to make war on England. But then Hugh is kidnapped and imprisoned by the Viceroy of Ireland and held ransom for the Clans' good behavior. Hugh must escape prison and the Viceroy's villainous henchman, Captain Leeds, before he can fight. Excellent used condition IB Technicolor print on 8x2000' reels - $499

• GAY PURR-EE - 1962. Animated cartoon feature. With the voices of Judy Garland, Robert Goulet, Paul Frees, Mel Blanc, June Foray and Red Buttons. Mouser Jaone Tom and housecat Mewsette are living in the French country side, but Mewsette wants to experience the refinement and excitement of the Paris living. But upon arrival she falls into the clutches of Meowrice. Jaune Tom and his friend Robespierre set off to Paris to find her. • ROBIN HOOD - 1973. Animated feature with the voices of Brian Bedford, Phil Harris, Andy Devine, Peter Ustinov, Terry-Thomas. Retelling of the Robin Hood legend with animals for the characters. Robin Hood is an outlaw who starts to form a gang in Sherwood Forest to fight the injustices of the Sheriff of Nottingham, who levies unpayable taxes upon the people. • MYSTERIOUS ISLAND - Columbia, 1961. Union soldiers escape in a gas balloon from a Confederate prison camp during the Civil War. They end up crashing in the ocean, only to find themselves washed up on an unknown island where gigantic animals abound. Classic Ray Harryhausen science fiction epic. • THE THREE LIVES OF THOMASINA - Disney, 1964. Starring Patrick McGoohan, Susan Hampshire and Laurence Naismith. A young Scottish girl's cat, Thomasina, apparently dies at the hands of her widowed veterinarian father. The strained relationship between the girl and her father is eventually repaired with the return of Thomasina and the aid of a beautiful and mysterious "witch" who seems to have powers to revive and heal animals. • ISLAND AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD - 1974. A Victorian gentleman hopes to find his long-lost son, who vanished whilst searching for a mysterious Viking community in a volcanic valley somewhere in uncharted Arctic regions. The gentleman puts together an expedition team to go on the search, but when they reach their destination they must escape from some Viking descendants who will kill to keep their existence a secret. • TEN TALL MEN - Columbia, 1951. Adventure comedy starring Burt Lancaster, Gilbert Roland, George Tobias, Jody Lawrance. Sgt. Mike Kincaid of the French Foreign Legion learns, from a Riff prisoner, that an attack will soon be made by the villainous Hussin on the Legion's outpost of Tarfa. Kincaid volunteers to lead nine other Legionnaires on a mission to delay Hussin's attack till reinforcements arrive. Excellent IB Technicolor print on 5x2000' reels - $399

• NEVERENDING STORY - 1984. Stars Barret Oliver, Gerald McRaney. Bastian is a young boy who lives a dreary life being tormented by school bullies. Shortly after, he "borrows" the book and begins to read it in the school attic where he is drawn into the mythical land of Fantasia, which desperately needs a hero to save it from destruction. The second half moves into the modern era, in which Patch, the head elf, strikes out on his own and falls in with an evil toy manufacturer who wants to corner the market and eliminate Santa Claus. • MICKEY'S GOOD DEED - 1932 Mickey Mouse cartoon. Mickey is playing Christmas carols on a standup bass. Alas, all he gets is screws, rocks, and other useless stuff. He plays outside a rich man's window, and the spoiled brat kid inside decides he wants Pluto. 1970's black and white print in Excellent+ condition - $249
• PLUTO'S HOUSEWARMING - 1947 Disney cartoon starring Pluto. Pluto has just finished moving his bones into a spiffy new doghouse when a turtle comes along and starts moving them out. While Pluto is dealing with the turtle, Butch takes up residence. Excellent IB Technicolor print - $149
